Ankle Brachial Index to Check for PAD

The Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) is a non-invasive test to check your risk of Peripheral Artery Disease. The test compares your blood pressure at y our ankle with your arm to see if arteries in the legs or arms are narrowed or blocked. We also perform other pulse volume recordings to test arterial blood flow. If you are at risk for developing PAD or are experiencing PAD symptoms including leg pain, you may need a pulse volume recording test done.

Vein Mapping or Ultrasound for Hemodialysis

Vein mapping may be needed for hemodialysis access placement. Prior to a fistula, graft, or catheter placement, your veins will be mapped out with an ultrasound.

Also for Vein Treatments

In preparation for vein treatments including Sclerotherapy or Endovenous Laser Treatment, your veins will need to be mapped out as well. Read more about our varicose and spider vein treatments.
