Robert A. Handley, Jr., MD has an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and a Masters degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and subsequently did a General Surgery Internship at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. He then completed a Diagnostic Radiology Residency and a Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX.
Certifications
Dr. Handley is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. He is recognized by the Society of Interventional Radiology to have a special competency in Interventional Stroke Therapy. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive vascular procedures.
